We provide resources and support to those who need it most
IMPACTS is a Houston based local nonprofit, involved in projects that other large, national nonprofits often overlook. As an-all female board, we have a unique insight into the specific unmet needs and challenges faced by families, especially women, in our communities.
Our team brings a combined experience of over 40 years of social work in the Greater Houston Area. We have a full 360 approach to assisting women and families in their challenges while ensuring their dignity and privacy is maintained.
Our projects focus on creating a more prosperous community, one individual at a time
Car Project
Our goal is to assist those in need with a vehicle so it becomes a means for them to earn a living and be productive and independent.
Let’s Not Waste Food
Let’s not waste food prevents food wastage while feeding those in need. We pick up food from restaurants at closing time and distribute to low income/refugee families as well as the homeless.
Lahiqoon
Our goal is to provide support for widows and family members of the deceased in our community in the initial mourning period. We coordinate with other organizations in assisting those impacted by the loss.
Visiting Allah
The terminally ill are those forgotten in our communities. Our goal is to assist them by visiting and providing basic necessities and comfort through emotional and spiritual support.
